My kids loved using these! I used them mainly in cooperative groups. This allowed the students to not only become more comfortable with Thinking Maps, but to learn different ways of thinking from their peers.
These templates use the small cube and rectangle sticky notes as well as the original square sticky note.
I've included sticky note templates at the very end. You can print these on color paper and have the kids glue them on their maps instead of buying sticky notes.
After introducing the different maps to the students I began allowing them to select the best map template to represent their work.
