Product Description
These directions will give you four activities to use with The Lightning Thief and Thinking Maps once a unit on the text is complete. They are great review for students before a chapter test as I presented them, but adapt them for during-text work if you prefer.

All of these ideas use a small group of students, poster paper, and a marker for each student so you can tell who has been writing. My classes were small enough that 4 could work on a poster, but you can repeat or add to these posters according to your needs.

See the thumbnails for ideas of the map suggested in this download. Be warned: they do still require teacher set-up and are merely ideas as used in my classroom.
