Help your students learn how to engage with a text and activate their thinking while reading by creating a “What Does the Text Say” bulletin board. This bulletin board set includes everything you need to create a giant speech bubble where you can display thinking stems, reading response sticky notes, student work, and more!

Check out the preview to see the board in action or click HERE to read my blog post about the three ways I used the giant speech bubble in my classroom!

Here’s what’s included!

  1. Thinking stem posters in half page and full page options (make connections, ask questions, form inferences, make predictions, monitor comprehension, and make evaluations.
  2. Speech bubble templates that can be projected and traced
  3. Letters using my font AG Thirty Something to create a header: “What Does the Text Say” (two sizes included: small - approx. 2 inches tall, and larger - approx. 3 inches tall)
  4. Teacher guide with 3 suggested ways to use a giant speech bubble
