This activity is designed for SLPs in home health, skilled nursing settings, rehabilitation settings, and hospital settings. It is made for patients with dementia, CVA, brain tumors, and TBI.
This activity demands that you name, categorize, and generate items in a category. This can be beneficial for those who have challenges with semantic relationships, categorization, thought generation, and naming.
Under each category, the patient will name ten items that belong in that category. For example, items that would fall under “Sports” would include basketball, baseball, football, etc.
In this product I have included pages with suggestions to help the SLP cue the patient think of more items in a category. Under each category, there is room for the patient to write 10 items by hand, which can target handwriting and spelling.
