My goal this summer is to get really organized so that I am no longer recreating the wheel or spending countless hours hunting for that sheet or activity that I just KNOW I have, but can't find. The first step in that was to figure out HOW I wanted to organize. I decided for Reading Language Arts I would organize by common core standards since we are switching next year.
Included in this file are over 120 pages of organization goodness. There are options for labeling file folders or using binders. I personally will be using binders and I have put pictures in the file showing how these can be used.
For each third grade language arts common core strand you will find:
A full size title page (I will be using these as binder covers)
1/4 sheet size labels for file folders or dividers.
1/4 sheet size I can labels for file folders or dividers.
Full size page that has the standards and the I can statements (I will be using these in the binders to split up the sections but they can also be used to display in your classroom).
Each strand is color coded so you will be using color ink unless you choose to print in gray-scale. I did this because I like things to match and be easier to locate. If all of one strand is the same color it makes organizing things so much easier.
