I created this math assessment to help assign report card grades to my third graders. You could also use it as a practice test, classwork, or to communicate to parents the type of work that is being done in math class.
I think it would take several sittings (perhaps 2 thirty minute time slots) for a third grade class to complete this.
It is aligned to the following Common Core standards for third grade, which my school requires that I teach during the third grading period:
3.0A.2 (interpret quotients)
3.OA.3 (multiplication & division word problems within 100)
3.OA.4 (determine unknown number in multiplication & division equations)
3.0A.5 (apply strategies of division & multiplication)
3.OA.6 (understand division as unknown factor)
3.0A.7 (multiply and divide within 100)
3.0A.8 (two-step word problems)
3.0A.9 (identify patterns)
3.NBT.3 (multiply by multiples of 10)
