Have you thought about how you will keep all of your common core activities organized and accessible? This system will help you keep all of your downloaded activities in one place and easy to find. You can also record the location of activities in books and manuals so that you can remember where they are. Each standard has its own page and is separated by tabs in my binder. After each standard page, I note the activity/assessment, book, page number, etc., and I place any activity directions, black line masters, etc. behind the page so that they will be all in one place as much as possible. I recommend that you record the standard number in the top right corner of each activity so it can easily be put back in the correct place. I also suggest that you mark it with a highlighter so you don’t accidentally use your master. Highlighter will not show on a copier. I have included a cover sheet to slide into the front pocket of your binder as well as a cut out for the side. The side cut out is sized for a 3-inch binder or larger. This package includes the language arts standards for third grade in their entirety. The license for this planning template is for use in one classroom, only.
Specially included is the PDF file is the Weekly Planning Worksheet.
This New Update includes 3 new choices for binder covers with labels to separate your strands into different binders. You can also use the blank templates to create your own combinations.
If you are looking for a document in which you can type in the information directly, look at the Word version of this document.
This document is available in the math standards for third grade, as well as the third grade package, which contains both standards together at a discount. (PDF or Word)
