Description

Are you looking for easy prep games to use with your third grade students all year? The graphics in this set of 15 games aren't seasonal, so you'll be able to use them whenever you come to the topics in your teaching!

* These games are ideal for distance learning during periods of prolonged school closing. This is not a digital resource. Parents, choose a game to play each day to help keep your child's math skills sharp without lots of tedious worksheets. All you'll need to add is dice and game board markers, like coins, mini-erasers, or even scraps of colored paper.

The topics in this set include...

★ Multiplication facts (grouped by facts for 2-5 and 6-9)

★ Multiplication: supply the missing factor

★ Multiply a one-digit number by a multiple of ten

★ Addition through 1,000

★ Subtraction through 1,000

★ Comparing four-digit numbers using > and <

★ Identifying equivalent fractions using visual representations

★ Finding area and perimeter

Your students will also have numerous opportunities for using critical thinking and mental math when they play these games!

The games are easy-prep, with each one having just one page to print and no cards to print, cut, and laminate. The games are also kind to your ink concerns – less than 20% of each page is in color, plus a blackline version of each game is also included. If you choose, you might like to have your students color the blacklines before using them in your math centers and guided math rotations.

Does your school have a Family Math Night? These games are a hit with families! They're great to send home as family math homework, too!

Recognize and generate simple equivalent fractions, (e.g., 1/2 = 2/4, 4/6 = 2/3). Explain why the fractions are equivalent, e.g., by using a visual fraction model.
Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
Determine the unknown whole number in a multiplication or division equation relating three whole numbers. For example, determine the unknown number that makes the equation true in each of the equations 8 × ? = 48, 5 = __ ÷ 3, 6 × 6 = ?.
Multiply one-digit whole numbers by multiples of 10 in the range 10–90 (e.g., 9 × 80, 5 × 60) using strategies based on place value and properties of operations.
Fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction.
