This is a bundle of review power points for the third grade math skills of adding/subtracting, rounding, data and graphs, multiplication, properties of multiplication, division, fractions, and comparing, ordering and equivalent fractions.
They are broken into weeks by skill with a quick check to complete after the reteach. I use these with a small group for after school tutoring that meets weekly, but you could easily use these as class review whole group. I tried to make them go back and forth from “easy” skills to “difficult” skills to keep students from getting discouraged.
All of the problems come from my math lessons, but I have grouped the most important problems and skills together into power points. I have found these especially helpful for our lowest math students, as they usually did not master many of the skills the first time they were taught. These do not focus on higher order thinking, but more on the basic skills that they need to have to before they can even tackle the problems that require more critical thinking.
Several of the power points include links to online videos to help keep it interesting. Students enjoy completing the quick check at the end. I check them problem by problem as they complete the worksheet and do not allow the student to move on until it is correct. This allows for every student to leave the session with the coveted 100% and allows them to show mastery of the skill which really boosts their confidence :)
I hope you find these useful as you prepare for the FSA, PARCC, and Smarter Balanced assessments!
