This awesome third grade daily reading log is common core aligned to both literature and informational text standards! Students choose an independent reading book to read each night and use this reading log to respond to what they read. Students can choose their own comprehension question and respond on the space provided. They also write down the book title , author, the page they started on and where they ended. There is even a page for extra space and a place for homework helpers (parents and guardians) to sign daily. Each of the reading response questions are aligned to third grade common core literature and/or informational text standards. This resource is an EXCELLENT way to keep track of students' independent reading because it tracks pages read. In addition, it can help monitor comprehension and gives students repeated practice with the common core literature and informational text standards. They also have an opportunity to practice their writing.
