Take your students on a journey from London to the English colonies in 1688 C.E.
Students “load their trunks” before the journey begins, then receive bonus or delay points due to the items they packed (and chance!) The “Load the Trunk” handout is a free download from my TPT store Shared by Steffens. You will need a die to roll to accompany this PP.
Use this simulation as a 3-day lesson, run it throughout your colonial unit to open/close class, or extend it on your own based on your resources into a three-to-four week project where you require your students to complete various colonial tasks.
The point log student handout to accompany this PP, and optional journals that that match each day of the simulation are also free downloads at TPT Shared by Steffens.
