Fall is by far my favorite season. Therefore, I wanted to create a packet that captured all of my favorite things about the fall. In this packet you will find a multitude of activities that your students are sure to love.
Guided Reading Activities:
There are three differentiated guided reading magazines included in this packet. Each magazine includes beautiful pictures that your students will love to look at. More so, each article touches on common questions that students have when studying the fall.
There are many differentiated reading response pages included.
There is also an emergent reader included entitled "Getting Ready."
Word Work Activities:
This packet will introduce your students to "fall words." Each word has a real life picture that goes with it. This will allow your students to build schema and to make connections as they are learning their new words.
There are many word work activities that you can have your students complete. This packet also includes many differentiated recording pages that have your students manipulate, spell, and write their new fall words.
This packet touches upon the different types of trees students will see in the forest, using their five senses, going on a nature walk, why animals hibernate and what animals do in the fall. There are two activities that you can do with your class: "Do I hibernate?" and "Going on a fall walk."
There are four activities/crafts included in this pack with step by step directions.
-painting fall leaves
-a leaf sort
-making pumpkin pie play dough
Make the fall come to life in your classroom with this packet. Please look at the preview to get a glimpse as to what is included in this 136 page packet.
