This product has students guessing about how we washed clothes in the past and how we wash clothes today.
There are three games:
Sorting - Students sort old school cards from new school cards and then get to decide which one they will write about and the steps that are needed to wash a load of clothes.
Vocabulary cards game: Students take turns reading the cards and writing a sentence for each. The student that comes up with the most sentences first, win.
Concentration game: Make 2 copies of each set of cards to have 2 games (Old School Verses New School) After playing the games, have students write about which way they would prefer washing clothes and why?
Board game: students take turns pulling cards and deciding if the card is old school or new school, then spin the spinner and move that many spaces. The player to reach the finish line first is the winner.
Go Fish: Along with making 2 copies like concentration, make 2 copies to play this game as well and have students follow one of the above writing activities.
