The This or That resource has become one of our classroom's favorites! This has been a great way to get students moving during morning meetings or for brain breaks.
For This or That & Seasonal Resources: Each question has 3 slides so you can pick which format you would like to use.
For This or That Reading Resources: Each question has 2 slides so you can pick which format you would like to use and a slide for students to explain their answer.
For This or That Math Editions: Each operation has 2 different styles to practice math facts!
I have included:
-Google Slides
-JPEGS to upload to online platforms like Seesaw
-Powerpoint
How I Use:
In School: I would post the slide on the SmartBoard and students would solve/pick the answer on their whiteboard and give me a thumbs up when they are ready. After a certain amount of time, I would say 3,2,1, This or That and students would perform the activity of the answer they picked. After, we would have a few friends share what they picked and why they picked it!
Distance Learning: I would post the slide on Zoom (sharing my screen) and students would share (either vocally or in our chat) what they would choose and then I would countdown, “3,2,1, THIS OR THAT!” and students would complete the given activity of whichever one they chose! After, we would have a few friends share what they picked and why they picked it!
