This social story is intended to help students with special needs such as autism, downs syndrome, or pragmatic language disorder learn to identify emotions how emotions are consequences of behavior. People have negative thoughts or positive thoughts about others based on one's behavior - essentially, perspective taking.
The story is customizable (place for you to add the student's photo or draw their picture in) and interactive with multiple choice, but all answers can be correct- they just serve as cues for the student to circle and think about each emotion.
Caution - I would modify the language of this activity with a student who is already sensitive to how others perceive them. This was originally designed who needed the language put very bluntly (i.e. "negative thoughts" or "positive thoughts") in part due to her comprehension, and in part due to the nature of her behavior towards her peers/personality. With any student though, it's important to always stress the positive and how they can make people have positive thoughts about them.
