These cute Penguins make solving math problems so much more fun!
You will find 28 color and 28 black and white penguins with triple digit math problems on their bellies. These cards have the same problems on them so you can choose which one you want to use. Most of the math problems will require regrouping.
There are two ways to have your students solve these problems.
One .... is to place the penguin cards around the classroom and give your students a clipboard and RECORDING SHEET. My students LOVE moving around the classroom to solve their math problems and the freedom of solving them in any order. Then we check them together as a class. (Answer sheet provided)
The second way .... is to place a penguin card at each student's desk and have students SCOOT to each desk on a given signal and work each problem. To check our answers I call on the student who has card number one at their desk to tell us the answer, then card number two etc.
An extra set of blank cards are also included which allows you to add any extra problems or maybe include a "Take a rest" card.
Enjoy this fun activity!
