Do your students need more practice subtracting three-digit numbers? I know mine always do! Subtracting hundreds, and even subtracting tens, can be tricky for kids. Add in regrouping, and OH, do some of them struggle! I made this set of 32 task cards specifically for students to keep practicing, while having fun. :)
You can use these task cards to play Scoot, put them in a math center, or use them as whole class warms ups displayed on your document camera or Smart board.
I’ve included two versions of the recording sheet: the first option includes an answer space for all 32 task cards on one page. This is perfect for easy copying-especially if you are limited on the number of copies you can make each month, like me! The second option has 16 answer spaces on each page so students can copy the problem into the box and show how they solved each problem.
I’d recommend printing each page on cardstock and laminating it for durability. This way, you can also have students write directly on the cards or answer sheets with dry erase markers-no need for millions of copies!
