This is a simple yet effective way for students to identify three academic vocabulary words, mathematical formulas, geographical features, science groups, etc. for use in interactive notebooks or as enrichment to the lesson.
Print duplex copy of the two pages. Cut on heavy horizontal lines to make three handouts per page.
Fold paper in half where indicated, then fold the front edge back part way (to the "title" box). On the front side, cut along the dotted lines where indicated by scissors, creating a "reveal" when flaps are opened. Students write in the term on the front, and write the description in the "revealed" area on the inside.
