Understanding them improves students' understanding of Shakespeare. Some examples of Shakespeare's uses are included in the lessons.

After completing one lesson, the teacher can ask students find evidence of an Elizabethan idea in the Shakespearean text the class is currently reading. .Students relate easily to these lessons and ideas and enjoy discussing them.

Also teachers can isolate one particular idea and allow students to research this on the Internet and report to the class.
