Product Description
After mastering the six syllable types and learning to read decodable two-syllable words, my students kept requesting to learn to read three syllable words. If students know their basic phonograms (vowel teams, r-controlled vowels, digraphs, etc.), they can learn to read multi-syllable words by dividing them up into decodable chunks! This pack of 21 printables will help students recognize that many 3-syllable words can be broken up into syllables that can be decoded using previously taught skills. Students will learn how to read and write the following words: basketball, butterfly, computer, dragonfly, envelope, grasshopper, ladybug, lemonade, jellyfish, octopus, pineapple, ponytail, hummingbird, potato, sunflower, and tomato. These pages are perfect for struggling learners, students with IEPs, and ELL students because they include a full list of the words with an accompanying picture on the first two pages. These pages can be used as a reference if needed. The following pages are included:
