This activity is a great tool to supplement teaching the three ways to solve systems of equations.
You can use this as a pre-teaching tool or summary note review to show the three different ways to solve systems of equations. There is a page to describe how to graph systems of linear equations, how to solve systems of equations using substitution and how to solve systems of equations using elimination. They are side by side so students can compare and contrast the different methods. I have used this as a brainstorming tool in small groups at the end of the unit.
The last page could be used as an exit ticket. Students are asked to complete a problem for each way to solve systems of equations. I use this to identify which areas to continue to focus on moving forward.
