Are you looking for a fun way to group students? “Three of a Kind” will do just that.
At the top of each column, you will find a heading card. Underneath each heading is three related cards. If you need groups of 3 students, use only the related cards. If you need a group (or groups) of 4 students, include the heading cards too.
Before beginning your group work activity, pass out one card to each student. Allow students to move around the room to find the students with whom they will be working. Encourage them to look for “things” related to their card. Collect the cards before beginning the group work.
To keep the cards for future use, you may want to copy onto cardstock, then laminate.
Included: 10 sets of 3 cards
2 blank sets of 3 (just in case you need to make more)
