This pack includes the following sounds: initial/final: p, b, m; final: n, t, d; initial/medial/final: k, g, f, v, l, s, z, ch, j, th, sh; pre-vocalic r; vocalic r (er, ar, or, air, ear, ire); rblends; lblends; sblends (separate mats for sp, st, sm, sn, sk, sl, sw, mixed). First practice, then make thumbprint earth.
Materials Needed: Ink pad or paint (green or brown recommended) and thumbprint earth pages. If you don't have ink pads, you can use bingo dotters to dot the student's thumbs (works great!)
Optional Assembly: You could also place them in a sheet protector or laminate to use with play dough.
To use: The student will practice the target word and then make a thumbprint on the earth. The student will place their thumb on an ink pad and then stamp it over an articulation word. The therapist will determine the number or trials per word. The student will color in the white spaces blue to make the ocean.
Use play dough to smash to make earth.
Use bingo chips to place over the earth.
