This activity was designed to be a simple, no-prep craft activity to target articulation in an engaging way. These pages are no-prep (print & go). This pack includes the following sounds: initial/final: p, b, m; final: n, t, d; initial/medial/final: k, g, f, v, l, s, z, ch, j, th, sh; pre-vocalic r; vocalic r (er, ar, or, air, ear, ire); rblends; lblends; sblends (separate mats for sp, st, sm, sn, sk, sl, sw, mixed). First practice, then make a thumbprint frog!

Materials Needed: Ink pad or paint (green recommended), thumbprint frog pages, & a black marker (a red one too if you want to add a frog’s tongue). You may also want to have wet wipes or paper towels handy (it can get messy)!

Optional Assembly: You can also place in a sheet protector or laminate to use with play dough.

To use: The student will practice the target word and then make a thumbprint frog on the lily pad. The student will place their thumb on an ink pad and then stamp it over the target word on the lily pad. Then using a black marker, the student will draw on a mouth or tongue on the frog. The therapist will determine the number or trials per frog.

Variations:
Use play dough to smash to make frogs
Use bingo chips to place over the frogs.
Use bingo dotters (don’t forget to draw the mouth!)
