No Prep and Ink Friendly
Make a Speech Therapy Fall Tree!
Do you need a an engaging articulation activity to mix up your speech sessions? Grab an ink pad and this resource!
This activity was designed to be a no prep craft activity to target articulation in an engaging way. It is an activity that keeps students busy during practice!
This download contains following sounds: initial/final: p, b, m; final: n, t, d; initial/medial/final: k, g, f, v, l, s, z, ch, j, th, sh; pre-vocalic r; vocalic r (er, ar, or, air, ear, ire); rblends; lblends; sblends (separate mats for sp, st, sm, sn, sk, sl, sw, mixed). First practice, then make a thumbprint fall tree!
Materials Needed: Ink pad or paint (fall colors recommended), thumbprint leaves pages
Optional Assembly: You can also place in a sheet protector or laminate to use with play dough.
To use: The student will practice the word and then make a thumbprint leaf on on the oval over the word. The student will place their thumb on an ink pad and then stamp it on the tree. If you are working in a group, I have the student fill in the tree with more thumbprints while they wait their turn. Use the blank template as a craft or reinforcer with any activity.
I added a tree with 50 spots for trial challenges
Use paint instead of ink
Use play dough to smash to make the leaves.
Use bingo chips to place over the leaves.
Use bingo dotters
I also have this in a spider theme! More themes coming!
