Materials Needed: Ink pad or paint (fall colors recommended), thumbprint leaves pages
Optional Assembly: You can also place in a sheet protector or laminate to use with play dough.
To use: The student will practice the word and then make a thumbprint leaf on on the oval over the word. The student will place their thumb on an ink pad and then stamp it on the tree.If you are working in a group, I have the student fill in the tree with more thumbprints while they wait their turn. Use the blank template as a craft or reinforcer with any activity.
Use paint instead of ink
Use play dough to smash to make leaves.
Use bingo chips to place over the leaves.
