No Prep and Ink Friendly
Do you need a an engaging articulation activity to mix up your speech sessions? Grab an ink pad and this resource!
This activity was designed to be a simple, no-prep craft activity. This version includes the following sounds: Initial/final: p/b/mj (for bilabials and final consonants), final t, d, n (for final consonants), initial/medial/final: k, g, f, v, l, s, z, sh, ch, j, th, lblends, , sblends (sp, st, sm, sn, sk, sl, sw, mixed), pre-vocalic r, er, or, ar, air, ear, & rblends. I also included blank open-ended pages.
Materials Needed: Ink pad or paint, Spider Thumbprint pages, & a black marker
Optional Assembly: You can also place in a sheet protector or laminate to use with play dough.
To use: The student will practice the target word and then make a thumbprint spider on the web. The student will place their thumb on an ink pad and then stamp it over the target word on the web. Then using a black marker, the student will draw on eight legs. The therapist will determine the number or trials per spider.
Use play dough to smash to make spiders.
Use bingo chips to place over the webs.
Use bingo dotters (and then draw eight legs on the dot).
I also have this in a Fall Tree theme! More themes coming!
