This product (and the larger one) was born out of a desire to meet the needs of my gifted kindergarten students by giving them opportunities that were appropriate for their independent or instructional reading level. I also used these kits when I was the only gifted intervention specialist in a K-5 building. I taught grades three through five, but I had students on my caseload who were in kindergarten, first, and second grade. I was easily able to either use the toolkits myself, or hand this pack of activities to teachers who were then able to use them with their own guided reading groups or individual students for whom the regular curriculum just wasn’t cutting it. This product is NOT just for gifted children! The activities can meet the needs of a variety
More of these toolkits are on the way! If you like this one, be sure to click on that little green star up at the top to follow me! You'll be the first to know when more toolkits are available!
