Frazzle is an exciting game-show that gets kids moving. It is a lot like Taboo, in that there is a word on the board, and students have to guess the word and its meaning without using the word or part of the word.
Students partner up, with one giving hints, and the other (with his or her back to the board) guessing the word. If they do not guess the word in the 20-second time frame, they are out. At the end of each multiple-question Round, there is an answers section, which is a good opportunity for students to take notes on terms and their definitions.
This can be played with the whole class partnered up, or with a few teams with one guesser & several hint givers.
There is also a Frenzied Frazzle at the end, which is like a sudden death round to determine the ultimate winner.

This Frazzle review game goes over the entire novel Thunder Cave. I use it as a review before their Thunder Cave final test.
