This is a 140 page PowerPoint presentation I use for my meteorology class. The PowerPoint starts by describing the main types of thunderstorms, as well as the developmental stages of each type. Many pictures are used for students to visualize and better understand the development of each type of thunderstorm. Some of the different types included are ordinary and supercell thunderstorms. Squall lines and shelf clouds are discussed. The last slides describe lightning development, along with thunder and microbursts. It is a very long presentation because a large number of pictures are included.
