This activity is a self-check activity for the TI-Nspire handheld calculators. I use this as an introduction to polynomials with the whole class. As we work through this presentation together, I can pull up students handheld's screens and have them explain their answers to the class from their seats. Students are less afraid to speak up in class from their seats. With the teacher software I can check to ensure all students are on task. This program contains examples and definitions before asking students questions. This is set up similar to a PowerPoint, but with student interaction. While I prefer to use it as an introduction with the whole class, it would work well as a review activity with students working on their own and checking their answers when they are finished. Grade can be sent to the student software if you want to count this as a grade.
