How to play:
The first player chooses a spot on the board to solve. If they are correct they put a piece over the spot. If they are incorrect they may not play a piece.
The second player chooses a different spot and solves the equation. They must solve correctly to play their piece. A player must get 3 in a row to win.
Keep track of the number of wins using the bar graph.
This game can be used in small group stations or pair practice. Encourage students to solve their partners equation for extra practice and to catch any mistakes in solving.
Two students play at a time. Third player determines if answers are correct. Then third player goes against the winner of the round. Write all 3 initials on the graph.
Two students play on one board while the other two students play on a different board. The winners play each other on the next round. Write 4 initials on the graph.
