Students will love playing tic-tac-toe in math class!!

Directions:
Students pair up and share one game board. They then choose a question to complete- whomever gets the question correct marks off the square with the corresponding answer (if both students get it correct, they pay rock-paper, scissors to decide who marks off the square.

Example Questions:
1. “Spongebob Live” the musical is coming to a theater near you. If you borrow \$800 from the bank at 12.5% interest for 8 months…How much total will you have to pay the bank back (principal + interest)?

2. Your friend Bob suffers from memory loss…Bob knows he earned \$220 in simple interest in one year and the annual rate on this account is 5.5%. Help Bob figure out how much his original deposit was.
