There are 18 different types of "tickets out" included in this download. Use these to close your lessons and get your students' feedback.
You can also use this download as a formative assessment and closure of your lessons.
Make copies so you have enough to hand out after each of your lessons. Come up with a question (that is tied to your objective) to have your students write on their "ticket out." Then, have students fill in the appropriate information.
Choose from two size options, make copies, distribute at the end of your lessons, and collect from students as they exit the room or transition to the next lesson.
As you collect them, make sure students are answering the question correctly.
Students can use this opportunity to close the lesson by restating the objective, and you can use this opportunity as a formative assessment to make sure students have mastered the lesson objective and standard. Be sure to monitor students’ answers to ensure students’ mastery of the standard and objective.
You can use the other 17 types of "tickets out" to not only assess students' knowledge of the lesson, but also students' feelings about the lesson. :)
