An integrated art activity where students make a diagram that shows how the gravity of the moon and sun cause tides on the Earth. The diagram is not that difficult to make, so even artistically-challenged students will be able to create a reasonable version. Images of completed diagrams are provided to project to your students as exemplars, showing them the expectations of the assignment. A grading rubric for the activity is also provided.
