Product Description

An easy So-Mi-Re-Do song for younger students.  This song uses the melody from Music for Children Volume 1, Rondo #32.  There is no score included. Lyrics for the melody are by Allison Croskey.

A great lesson to teach or reinforce most of the pentatonic scale.  Students learn the melody through body percussion for easy transfer to solfege and barred instrument playing.  Once solfege is mastered students add lyrics. Adding movement to the lyrics can help students to show the creep/sneak movements of a Tiger.  You can also transfer the melody to the barred instruments and add other accompaniment parts.

Students can use given rhythm building blocks to create their own rhythm compositions.  These can be done via body percussion or even transferred to un-pitched percussion.

Put everything all together for a great performance piece; showcasing singing, movement, rhythm composition, and instrument playing!
