TIKI TAKEDOWN is based on the Nordic game of KUBB and is suitable for 2 to 12 players. This can be a great game for an elementary class or even as a station activity for secondary students in P.E. You put the Tiki in the middle of a rectangular playing area, and each team starts with 5 of the castles about 5 paces from the Tiki spread out in a line on their side to start. To begin one team throws the six sticks and tries to knock down the other side’s castles. After each turn any castles that were knocked down get tossed to the other side and set up wherever they land. Eventually all the castles are on one side or the other and then you can knock down the Tiki for victory. There are a few more details explained in the brochure but that’s about it.
These games are made from reclaimed beams from custom home construction sites, milled, cut, routered, sanded, and then finished with a clear poly coat to give you years of enjoyment. $ 60.00 for a natural wood set with a clear finish. I will pay the shipping in the Continental U.S. which is approximately 20.00 dollars due to the size and weight of the game.
