This extensive unit is all about Time to the hour and half-hour, aimed at primary kiddos, grades K, 1, and 2! There are many activities that your kids will just love that are academic and interactive, the perfect combination for learning!

~Literature Connections and Printable Book List: 10 books all about time
~Clock Posters: A poster about the parts of a Digital and Analog Clocks
~Photo Task Card Center: This center features real photos of analog clocks. Students must write down the times they see onto a digital clock.
~AM or PM Photo Sorting Center: This center also features real photos of kids doing specific activities. Students must determine if the activity is happening in the AM or PM. A recording sheet is included.
~Clip_It Cards Center: These cards ask the students to clip the correct times shown on the analog clocks, using a clothespin or a paper clip
~Classroom Clock Labels: Provided are round, glitter clock labels for your class analog clock. These labels will help your students read the minutes on the clock
~Elapsed Time Interactive Student Book: This half-page booklet gives your students time scenarios and they must decide the ending times of the activities given.
~Time Sorts (Seconds, Minutes, Hours): This center has activities on cards. Students must sort them into Seconds, Minutes or an Hours header card. A recording sheet is included.
~Time Check: This whole-class activity has the students writing down the time at any time you call out during the day. Great informal assessment activity!
~I Spy (Walk the Room): Full-page analog clocks are provided and students mush walk around the room with their clip board writing down the times they see. A recording sheet is included.
~Interactive Notebook Foldables: These are a variety of foldables that can be used in a notebook or sheet of construction paper. Both digital and analog clocks are included on the foldables
~Clock Puzzles: These puzzles ask the students to match the times shown in words to the correct matching clock.
~Time Scoot Activity: Digital Clock cards are placed on all the desks. Students "scoot" around the room writing down all the different times. A recording sheet is included.
~Human Clock Craftivity: Students can make their own human clock, using a photo of their bodies!
