This Time Capsule is a great way to preserve memories of your students school year. It can be used anytime during the year but I like to do it at the end. Students will make small "projects" that will go into their Time Capsule. It can be made using 9x12 or 10x13 manila envelopes or a shoe box. Students also bring in items from home. Then it is sealed, sent home, and parents can decide when they want to get it out to share later in life. Graduation? Wedding?
Letter writing paper: Parents write a letter to their child and students write a letter to themselves in the future.
Letter to send to parents about the project. Attached Word Document letter so you can edit as needed.
Me Today and Me in the Future pages. On these pages they describe and draw themselves today and then make predictions for their future- (what job they will have, how tall they will be, how many kids they will have etc.)
Interactive page that includes their Favorite Things.
Interactive page that tells about what is Popular (movie, TV show, toy, song).
Autographs pages- there are two different forms to choose from.
My School- they write and draw about their school.
Technology Today- they choose current technology pictures to glue onto their page and tell what it is.
**There is also an editable letter that goes home to parents about the Time Capsule.
