Time Crunch is a great game for math centers. Students will enhance skills in telling time. The game has students tell time to the hour and half-hour.
THIS GAME NOW HAS 4 DIFFERENT GAME BOARDS FOR EACH WAY TO PLAY: 4 WITH CLOCKS & 4 WITH DIGITAL TIMES! :)
How to Play: Students will spin twice per turn. They will choose a red spinner and spin the blue spinner to create a time (red=hours, blue=minutes). After creating a time through spinning, students write their time in numbers (digitally) and words on a record sheet provided. Then, students cover the correct time on their bingo boards. Take turns and each student only covers the time he/she spins. The first student to have five times covered in a row wins.
Note: I have included bingo boards with digital times and others with analog clock times. The color of the hands on the analog clock boards match the spinner colors (red=hours, blue=minutes).
Spinner: I had my students use the eraser end of a pencil and paperclips.
