5 time games to help consolidate the concept of time. Perfect for a math center.
Included in the pack is:
Bingo - o'clock and half past time(analog time)
This simple game requires players to match up the analog time to its written time. You can choose to have all o’clock times or a mixture of both. Children who have not yet grasped half past can use the o’clock game and still play with their peers.
Farmyard Frolics - o'clock and half past (digital and analog time)
This game requires the player to roll the die. Only the player on the
corresponding number may move forward and read the time (not
necessarily the player who rolled the die). Every player who has the same time on the next square on their climbing frame may also move one space.
Hiking Home - o'clock and half past (digital and analog time)
In this game the players take it in turn to roll the die and move ahead the correct amount of spaces. The player reads the time they have landed on and then moves ahead to its analogue or digital equivalent.
Running Late - o'clock, half past, quarter to and quarter past (digital and analog time)
In this game players may only place a counter on their card if they roll a one, two, three or four. The aim of the game is to make a path from the clock on the green rectangle to the red by reading the time in five minute intervals.
Happy Holidays - reading the time in 5 minute intervals (digital and analog time)
Players move the amount of spaces indicated by the die along the
squares either horizontally or vertically or a combination of both. The aim of each move is to move through as many holiday items as possible as each is worth 5 points. In order to move the player must find (on the answer board) or make (on the clock) the analog representation of each digital time the player moves through.
