As part of my time management lesson, I read a short "story" about how three different students spend their time when given an assignment. As I read the story, I have a student volunteer color in the time as it passes (projected through the document camera). This helps make the concept of "time management" more concrete, especially as many of the students are able to see themselves in the examples.
