Time is a tricky concept, and many children take some time to learn it. But practice makes perfect - so give your students plenty of opportunities to practice reading time in different formats - analogue, digital, 12- and 24-hour time as well as written.
This cut and paste activity provides opportunities for students to consolidate their knowledge and understanding of time. It also incorporates fine-motor skills, and can be used as an assessment tool.
Print off the cards with the clocks and time, then print out enough paste sheets to meet your individual requirements. Students can complete one sheet each, or you can group sheets according to on-the-hour time, half and quarter hour time or 5-minute interval time. This allows for differentiation and leveled activities.
