For level one students learning how to tell the time. I talk about GMT and what it is because they need to understand it for this activity. Students are assigned a place in the world where they are from using the second page, cut out the countries and pass them out or let students choose out of a bag. Have them figure out what time it is in their country based off the GMT. Then using the first sheet they must go around asking each other, "De donde eres?" and "Que hora es?" to get every country and the time to fill out the chart (first page). When I do this activity I am very strict that they only use Spanish during this time. If they do it correctly its great practice for speaking, listening, and understanding.
