Let’s Celebrate!!! This file is very versatile and can be used when you’re talking about classroom celebrations, holidays such as New Years or the 4th of July or as a celebration of learning a new rhythm!
In this game your students will select a rocket. They will then read a 4 beat pattern. After they read the 4 beats another 4 beats will be added as the rocket is launched higher into the sky. This continues until there are 16 beats of rhythm! Now, we all know that fireworks can be memorable so in order to see the fireworks your students will need to perform ALL 16 beats from memory!
Included in this file are two interactive PDF games: one written in stick notation with note heads and one written without noteheads.
**** This is a sampler of the file: Time to Celebrate! ta ti-ti
