My students love this game! It is Common Core Standards for First Grade.
Place cards face up in a large rectangle. You will need 4-6 place markers and a die. I have used plastic bugs, linking cubes, teddy bears, race cars, wrapped candy (they take with them), or any other item you have to help students keep their place. Changing up the place markers adds novelty to this game!
The first student rolls the die and moves that many places. If he/she
can state the time on the analog clock, the student may remain in that spot. If they cannot tell the time, they must move back to where they were, not necessarily the beginning. The first student to the end wins.
I have taught this game to my students and have used this game idea to teach multiple concepts. Once students learn the game, then all you have to do is change the cards. Please see more of these games at my store.
