Begin this lesson by giving students about 10 minutes to read and study the information on page 41A pertaining to major events of the Colonial Period and American Revolution. Then, collect their pages.
Give each student a copy of pages 41B - 41D.
Divide the class into five teams that will compete against each other in a fun game reviewing the major events of the Colonial Period and American Revolution.
After playing the game, assign the Timeline section.
Easy-to-follow Teacher Instructions and answer key included, along with a 20-question follow up quiz to assess student progress.
The quiz can also be given as a homework assignment.
