Famous Americans Timelines
Timelines of the life and times of five famous Americans are right here! These five: George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington Carver and Eleanor Roosevelt. This activity is a convenient way to teach sequential order and review historical facts simultaneously. Young learners may need to have the facts read aloud. Lively classroom discourse will occur as students debate the order of the events. Direct students to write the numerical order of each event somewhere on each picture, and then gluing each picture, in order, on the timeline.
Bonus: Answer keys included.
