We love using pop culture as the inspiration for our projects and lessons. At the moment, tiny things as well as foodie things are the current craze. Who hasn’t taken a picture of their food or watched a tv show about someone living in a tiny space or building a tiny home? In this lesson, students will be taking inspiration from both trends by creating tiny food displays with clay. These tiny food displays can easily integrate the visual arts with health, nutrition, world cultures, etc.
In addition to the video, the lesson also includes downloadable lesson plans (early ed - middle school), extended learning opportunities, and reflection sheet.
