Tiny Worlds Magnified by a Scanning Electron Microscope in An Assortment - STEM

We hope you will visit our NEW TINY WORLDS STORE by clicking on this link.

This E-Book includes pictures that are enlarged more than can be achieved with the microscopes commonly used in schools. These photos make excellent posters for science bulletin boards if they are printed on Photo Paper. Hopefully they will spark an interest in the tiny worlds around us.

Suzanne L. Eder, my sister, has spent more than 30 years taking pictures of tiny specimens through Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. In 1985 and 1986 she won prizes in the Polaroid International Photomicrography Competition. She wants to share some of her photos with teachers, students, and nature centers in hopes that they can share her enjoyment and amazement of the tiny worlds we cannot see without enlargement

• Pollen Grains from the Goats Beard Flower
• The Head of a Worker Bee
• The Eye of a Worker Bee
• The Barbs on the Stinger of a Worker Bee

• The aluminum stubs covered in a very thin layer of gold ready for scanning.

These pictures are for your classrooms and homes. They are not to be sold by you.

Here are links to my products which include images from the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM pictures):
